Shopping tours arrive in Juruaia by chartered buses and vans, usually early, to make the most of the stores from Monday to Saturday morning. The busiest seasons are the Outlet (January), Felinju (April) and Festlingerie (September). The Expoju event center has parking for tour buses.

How it works
Groups of resellers, shop owners and shoppers leave from cities in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná and other states, usually in the early hours, to reach Juruaia early in the morning and make the most of store hours. The Expoju event center has parking for tour buses and vans.

Tips for the day
- Arrive early. Shops open Monday to Friday during business hours and on Saturday mornings; most close on Sundays. During event weeks hours change: check with the shop before you travel.
- Bring a list of your customers' sizes and colors.
- Ask at each store whether it sells retail, wholesale or both.
- Take a break to eat and leave your food shopping for last, so the cheeses spend less time traveling.
