By car from São Paulo it is about 352 km (around 4h30) via the Rodovia dos Bandeirantes and SP-340. By bus, there are routes from Terminal Tietê to Muzambinho (about 4h20), and from there it is 15 km to Juruaia. The nearest major airport is Viracopos, in Campinas, about 3 hours away.

From São Paulo, the most common route is the Rodovia dos Bandeirantes followed by the SP-340 (Adhemar de Barros). From Belo Horizonte, the MG-050. In the region, the BR-146 and BR-491 connect Juruaia to neighboring towns.

There are bus lines from Terminal Rodoviário Tietê (São Paulo) to Muzambinho, a trip of about 4 h 20 min. From Muzambinho to Juruaia it's about 15 km, by taxi or ride-hailing app, when available.
By plane
The nearest major airport is Viracopos, in Campinas, about a 3-hour drive away.
