live commerce / shared infrastructureShared showroom and livestream studio
Inspiration: Brás (São Paulo) + the Santa Cruz do Capibaribe (PE), Goiânia and Monte Sião clusters
Mega Polo / 'Polos do Brasil' (Mega Phygital): a physical showroom in Brás with the country's first live center inside a shopping mall (studios and booths for TikTok Shop livestreams), an affiliate network, marketplaces and a training track (Vitrines do Brasil, sponsored by UOL Host).
Result: More than 20 Moda Center brands joined the operation on 04/28/2026, the first hub in the country in the ecosystem, with the Goiânia and Monte Sião hubs planned next. The live center serves up to 20 brands per month, with 30 days of physical presence in Brás, content production, live streams and affiliate activation.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Two fronts: (1) put forward 'the Lingerie Capital of Brazil' as a hub in the program, since neighboring Monte Sião, in Sul de Minas, has been announced; (2) set up a shared photo and livestream studio in Juruaia (booths rented by the hour) for garment makers. The model was launched in 2026 and still has few hubs, which gives an edge to early adopters.

live commerce / e-commerceCollective live commerce program
Inspiration: Brazil – TikTok Shop (fashion and small sellers)
Selling through videos and livestreams with a network of affiliate creators on TikTok Shop (launched in Brazil in May 2025); fashion brands such as DLK Modas (fitness) debuted on Live Shop in 2026.
Result: In the first year, average daily GMV grew 102-fold, active affiliate creators 46-fold, live sessions 20-fold and live GMV 161-fold (May 2025–May 2026). In the app's survey, 57.8% of users say they buy after discovering a product on the platform. Pants, T-shirts/blouses and dresses lead women's fashion.
How to apply it in Juruaia: A collective 'Juruaia Live' program: train 20 to 30 garment makers in livestream selling and affiliate recruitment (many lingerie resellers already sell via WhatsApp and Instagram). The channel is still in a hypergrowth phase in Brazil, and lingerie, a visual, low-ticket product, lends itself to video demonstration.

specialty coffee / originTraceable coffee microlots
Inspiration: Cerrado Mineiro (MG) – coffee Designation of Origin
Origin certification with traceability and a seal on the package (Brazil's first coffee DO), used as a commercial differentiator in exports and in processed coffee.
Result: 2025/26 harvest: 419,900 bags certified with DO (Designation of Origin), versus about 150,000 per cycle before 2022/23. About 10 million seals applied to packaging, 279 registered buyers, about 4,500 producers in 55 municipalities. The 2026/27 target is at least 600,000 bags.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Juruaia's 7,488 t of arabica are currently diluted as a commodity at Cooxupé. Separating traceable micro-lots (with a 'Juruaia' origin QR code) for direct sale or local roasting captures an origin premium without requiring its own Designation of Origin, using the neighboring cooperative's infrastructure.

coffee tourism / agritourismCoffee + lingerie itinerary
Inspiration: Minas Gerais – Sebrae Minas 'Check-in Turismo' (includes the Sul de Minas Coffee Route)
Building tourism destinations and experiences with consulting for small businesses: the Southern Minas Coffee Route (Varginha, Três Pontas, Carmo de Minas, Cristina and others) offers guided farm visits, sensory tastings and roasting demonstrations by appointment.
Result: About R$ 21 million invested since 2022, 21 destinations structured by the end of 2026, 245 experiences created, 570 businesses served in 75 municipalities (over 70,000 hours of consulting) and an average 22% increase in participating businesses' revenue.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Juruaia and Guaxupé are not on the current route. The proposal is to seek entry into the program with a unique 'coffee + lingerie' product: a farm visit and coffee shop/roastery in the morning and shopping at the garment makers in the afternoon, serving both bus tour groups and business travelers visiting Cooxupé (Femagri 2025 drew more than 42,700 people in Guaxupé, 15 km away).

intimate apparel / trade fairsTrade fair with invited buyers
Inspiration: Nova Friburgo (RJ) – intimate apparel cluster
Fevest trade fair (now Fevest Inspire, organized by Sindvest) with business rounds with foreign buyers (SindExporta program) and the National Buyer Project, in which the union covers buyers' travel and lodging for up to 20 companies.
Result: Fevest Experience 2025: more than US$ 500,000 in international business at the matchmaking rounds. 2026 edition: more than 100 brands (from hubs in MG, CE, SP and RS), about 9,000 expected visitors and more than 40 companies in rounds with foreign buyers. The hub produces about 336 million pieces a year (about 35% of Brazil's lingerie, swimwear and activewear production), with about 28,000 jobs, roughly 80% held by women.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Turn Felinju from a retail fair into a trade fair, with buyer rounds for retailers and marketplaces with sponsored travel and an export track to Mercosur. Fevest already attracts exhibitors from Minas Gerais clusters, and the buyer-round model with costs paid by the trade union is inexpensive and measurable.

shopping tourism / wholesaleShopping hub for bus tours / shopping tours
Inspiration: Santa Cruz do Capibaribe (PE) – Agreste Garment Cluster
Moda Center Santa Cruz: a condominium-style wholesale center with stalls of local garment makers, parking for buses and shopping-tour cars, themed fairs (São João da Moda, Festival Moda Center) and hours adjusted for holidays.
Result: About 10,000 stalls and stores in six warehouses, parking for more than 6,000 vehicles and up to 100,000 buyers per week, reaching 150,000 in high season.
How to apply it in Juruaia: On a proportional scale, a single shopping hall or center with parking for bus tours and a fixed calendar of 'shopping weeks' would bring together the roughly 400 garment makers into a one-day shopping tour destination, 352 km from São Paulo. This taps into the flow of traveling resellers (sacoleiras) already moving through the Circuito das Malhas (Monte Sião/Jacutinga).

marketplaces / shared logisticsShipping drop-off point and marketplace training
Inspiration: Agreste region of Pernambuco (Caruaru, Santa Cruz do Capibaribe)
Shopee partnership with the hub: in-person training for retailers, a network of Shopee Agencies (drop-off points) and a fulfillment center in the state.
Result: More than 80% growth in active sellers in the last year, with the Agreste rising from 11.2% to 17% of active sellers in Pernambuco. More than 850 sellers trained and more than 30 Shopee Agencies. A garment maker from Santa Cruz reported 800% growth in monthly revenue in under six months (individual case).
How to apply it in Juruaia: Negotiate with Shopee and Mercado Livre for on-site training and a drop-off point or agency in Juruaia, which cuts the logistics cost of shipping order by order. A shared drop-off point is the seed of a collective fulfillment center.

specialty coffee / marketingJuruaia coffee competition and auction
Inspiration: Mantiqueira de Minas / Sul de Minas (MG)
Digital platform for Geographical Indication seals (Sebrae, ABDI, Instituto CNA) with traceability QR codes, an international buyer mission to farms and cooperatives (Nov 2025) and lots entered in quality auctions (Cup of Excellence).
Result: 1 million seals issued for roasted coffee from the Mantiqueira (about 8,000 producers, 83% small-scale, 25 municipalities, exports to more than 32 countries). A mission of 14 buyers from four continents in 2025. At Cup of Excellence Brazil 2025 (auction on 12/09/2025), the winning lot from Fazenda Aracaçu (South of Minas) sold for US$ 65.10/lb and an experimental Mantiqueira lot for US$ 61.40/lb.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Create a municipal coffee quality contest with an auction of the best lots (linked to Felinju or to the harvest) and enter producers in the Cup of Excellence. Sul de Minas lots fetched the highest prices at the 2025 national auction, which shows the regional terroir is already recognized by buyers.

credit / modernizationThe hub's credit desk
Inspiration: Santa Cruz do Capibaribe (PE)
Large-scale targeted credit for garment makers (FNE/Banco do Nordeste), including the FNE Inovação line, for machinery, printing, dyeing and working capital.
Result: R$ 470 million financed to the municipality in 2025 (versus R$ 16.8 million in 2024, an increase of about 2,700%), 56% of the R$ 831 million allocated to Pernambuco's textile sector. The hub has 6,413 garment industries, 99.3% of them MEI, micro or small businesses.
How to apply it in Juruaia: The FNE does not apply to Minas Gerais. The equivalent is to organize a cluster 'credit desk' with BDMG, Sicoob/Sicredi and public banks to collectively finance machinery, solar power and digital inventory. The case shows that credit organized by cluster, rather than company by company, multiplies volume.

shopping tourism / eventsTourism calendar with the Circuito das Malhas (Knitwear Circuit)
Inspiration: Jacutinga and Monte Sião (MG) – Sul de Minas Knitwear Circuit (Circuito das Malhas)
Winter fairs with a fixed calendar (FestMalhas in Jacutinga; Fenat in Monte Sião) integrated into the state campaign 'Inverno em Minas' (Winter in Minas, Secult-MG). The 'National Capital' title is used as a tourism brand and shopping tourism runs year-round.
Result: FestMalhas (previous edition): about R$ 52 million in business and more than 250,000 visitors (Acija), with about 1,100 knitwear makers in Jacutinga. Monte Sião has more than 1,200 active knitwear makers and about 35% of Brazil's knitwear production.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Knitwear sells in winter, while lingerie and beachwear/activewear sell year-round, with peaks on Mother's Day, Brazilian Valentine's Day (June 12) and the year-end holidays. Juruaia could push to include Felinju in the state tourism calendar and create a 'Sul de Minas' shopping route with the neighboring circuit, filling the months outside winter.

shopping tourism / wholesaleBus tour calendar
Inspiration: Goiânia (GO) – Região da 44 (fashion district)
Fashion wholesale hub with galleries and malls geared to bus tours, extended hours and Sunday openings in high season, with reinforced security and coordination by the business association (AER44).
Result: R$ 5.7 billion in sales between September and December 2025 (R$ 4.8 billion in wholesale) and 2.2 million visitors between October and December (AER44).
How to apply it in Juruaia: Replicate the 'bus tour calendar' logic: hours and days agreed between garment makers and local businesses, bus reception facilities (parking, restrooms, food) and packages with tour agencies from São Paulo, Campinas and Ribeirão Preto, especially ahead of peak lingerie dates.
Source (2026): tribunadoplanalto.com.br
training / social infrastructureDaycare, transportation and a technical school for the hub
Inspiration: Nova Friburgo (RJ) – intimate apparel cluster
Sector agenda taken to the City Council: extended hours at municipal daycare centers to make it easier to hire women, transportation and meals for SENAI students, inspection of irregular subcontracted sewing workshops and more public support for Fevest.
Result: 4,282 garment-related businesses as of May 2026 (63.8% MEI) and about 28,000 jobs (Sindvest, 496 members in 12 municipalities), with roughly 80% female workforce. Fevest costs about R$ 3.2 million per edition, against a municipal subsidy of R$ 80,000.
How to apply it in Juruaia: With 90–95% of garment makers run by women, the first workforce levers in Juruaia are full-time daycare matched to factory shifts and a local SENAI/SEBRAE sewing and pattern-making class with transportation. These are the same demands the country's largest cluster took to public authorities in 2026.

territorial brand / food and tourismJuruaia collective brand
Inspiration: Serra da Canastra (MG)
The 'Território da Canastra' collective territorial brand (Aprocan + Sebrae, inspired by South Tyrol), which certifies cheese and coffee (already with a Geographical Indication) as well as tourism services, with a digital trip-planning platform.
Result: The circuit brings together 20 municipalities, 14 routes, about 250 attractions, 150 lodging establishments and 250 food businesses. The collective brand covers 11 municipalities and is in the approval phase (intermunicipal association, bill and INPI registration). There is no consolidated visitor data.
How to apply it in Juruaia: Registering a collective trademark with INPI ('Juruaia – Capital da Lingerie') for the town's garment makers and coffee protects the name from use by third parties and creates a single seal for online stores, marketplaces and packaging.
